Use your vote today against the BNP

05/05/05

The fascist British National Party are standing in 119 seats across the country, hoping not to win seats, but to increase their share of the vote and areas that they will target at the 2006 local elections. In the 2001, the BNP gained over 16% of the vote in Oldham West and Royton constituency and had a high vote in Burnley. They subsequently targeted both these towns in a bid to make local breakthroughs, which they succeeded in achieving in Burnley but were successfully stopped from breaking through in Oldham.

This is why it is essential for all anti-racists to use their vote against the BNP today.
