ESOL conference

270607

To prepare for the future of the campaign UCU will be holding an ESOL Conference that takes place on Friday 29 June 2007 at UCU Conference Centre, Kings Cross, London. There will be a range of speakers including trade unionists, students, tutors and principals.

By the end of the conference we will have:

• developed an ongoing campaign strategy and plan for future action

• explored the impact on tutors and potential students following funding changes and possible ways to tackle problems at the grass roots

• explored some the professional issues around changing face of ESOL provision. If you are a tutor, student or campaign activist, this conference is for you.
