Students ‘Rise against racism’

Twenty students' unions supported the second ‘Rise student week’ in London last November.

Organised by SAAR, NUS Black Students' Campaign and the Mayor of London, the week included a range of events, bringing the message of the successful Rise anti-racist festival to campuses to celebrate multiculturalism and student diversity.

This year’s events included gigs, discussions, international food fairs, film showings and a Diwali festival in the Royal Albert Hall.
